Lofing Electric serves all of Stillwater County and beyond.

In 1977, Gary Lofing started Lofing Electric in Columbus, MT. For the next 30 years, he and his wife, Pat, created a well-respected business while simultaneously running a ranch. Their son, Pete, graduated from Washington State University in 2006 and came back to his hometown to start his electrical apprenticeship under his dad. Pete is now a master electrician. Gary retired from the business in 2019 when Pete and his wife, Amber, took over Lofing Electric and continue running it today. They have grown their staff and Pete continues to train electrical apprentices.

Pete Lofing

Pete graduated from Washington State University with a Construction Management degree. He then went on to get his Master Electrician License. He has been working in the construction industry his entire life and began his electrical training as a young boy alongside his father. He signed off on his first electrical panel in 1993.
